Each parrot was hand-made in Peru from soapstone. Soapstone is a naturally occurring metamorphic rock and, as such, there can be significant variation in color between pieces. Each beautifully carved parrot has inlaid green eyes. If you have a stone- (more cream, tan, red, grey, etc.) color preference or if you want us to select similarly or differently colored birds, please let us know at the time of your order. We will do our best to give you the birds you most desire! Each bird is approximately 1-1/2" tall with his head looking over his left shoulder.
